When it comes to racial issues, I'm very passionate about young girls just loving who they are in their own skin. Because I remember going to an all-white school and being the only black girl in an all-white school, think - looking around me, thinking there's no one else here that looks like me.
I made a stamp with Destiny's Child. We made a stamp together, above anything. And making a stamp on my own, I'm very proud.
I actually crashed the car I learned to drive on. It was a friend of mine's car.
I did live over in the U.K. for a while, so I guess I'm just naturally a Brit at heart.
I actually started singing in church when I was about five years old. I remember looking at the choirs and just hearing all of those great big beautiful voices. And there was this one woman who could just wail. And I remember trying to sing like her when I was like going home.

Kids are so busy with different things and are occupied with other things, so when they do find themselves to be creative, it's often that they can be creative in the kitchen and they get the opportunity to bond with family, friends and talk. I typically like to train with the mentality of a high-performance athlete. I put in the work and do what it takes to be successful. A typical workout routine consists of sprint-based training combined with strength moves two days a week. Along with the balance of total-body workouts that challenge my core and shape my body twice weekly.Collection: Workout

Compared to somewhere like Miami where I literally wear beachwear all day and I can walk around barefoot. My style is consistent. I really, really love to move. You know what I mean? I mean, it's not a workout, but I absolutely love to do it, and that's performing, which is very close to doing Zumba. When you're onstage and you're moving everything, every single part of your body, it's actually working and active to the tips of your fingers. You're burning a hell of a lot of calories. And I think that's what people always look forward to - they want to know how many calories they've burned, and it's really important to actually know that and know your nutrition even more.Collection: Workout
